Alchemy of Beasts - Patch 1
Hello everyone !
First thank you so much for the reception of the game !
I'm glad you like the concept and with your help, I was able to identify some of the bugs and glitches affecting the experience.
I also added some little things to help you understand the game better.
So here is the first patch note for the game !
Patch note AoB - Patch 1 :
New features :
• You are now able to craft some tool within the lab. You can finally use those sticks and stones !
Quality of Life :
• There is now some hint for potions within the Grimoire.
• Grimoire is updated is the animal you're cursed with is becoming obvious.
• Chauldron and Megalith should be easier to interact with.
• It should be easier to differentiate the endings without reading the text.
• Menus not useful in this version have been removed.
Bug Fixes :
• Text should erase properly after switch pages in the Grimoire.
• The game shouldn't softlock anymore if the end of the day happens during a craft.
• Using crafting stations don't give you the GRimoire anymore if you didn't got it from the bat.
• Crafting should correctly cancel if you cancel during the falling animation of materials.
• Last items obtained pop-ups should finally clear themself when entering or exiting the lab.
• The changes from the curse should not stay during the end cutscene anymore.
• No more fur during the endings.
• All powder should now be considered materials for the chauldron.
• The gathering QTE should not stay on screen if you cancel gather during it.
• Animations of changes should synchronize better with the body, especially during gathering.
• Tail should not go over vegetation anymore.
• It is now possible to go back to the title screen after the ending without risking a crash.
Known issues / Still looking for the cause:
• It may be possible to move between two mix of material in the chauldron.
• It is possible that an Amber or Silver powder stay on screen after crafting
• Sometimes, the materials aren't grabbed the first time we click on them.
• Mouse coordinates can change depending of the resolution of the game, creating problems when grabbing materials.
• Sometimes, the Mush window in the Grimoire goes away.
• Tail doesn't appear if facing north
